Spot the seagull-chicks
There are three of them
In the dive
Turning away to prepare a new attack
The last day of June could definitley pass as a summerday. Took some pictures just past midnight. Still nice and +10 C, but in the small valleys above Finnsaeter fog was forming. On a more massive scale fog was drifting in from Andfjorden. Spotted three seagull-chicks, and the parents spotted me.

Drove to Andoya to meet Endre and Kate. The ferry between Andenes and Gryllefjord were stuck due to engine trouble. Walked the hills and had a fine view of Andoya Rocket Range and the boglands of Andoyas east coast.

Heavy snowfall this weekend, wet , heavy snow on top of old coarse snow. An avalanche blocked the road between Skaland and Straumen from Sunday to Monday. The road was blocked near the tunnell entrance on the Skaland side. There are some barriers built here to prevent avalanches to block the road, but they were overrun this time. The avalanche got as far as Botnvatnet. Took some pictures Monday afternoon, after the road was opened.
